A Fight for Survival

Our country is facing a chaos which we cannot tell when will it ends. Many had suffered and still suffering from an invisible villain the Covid-19 virus that is spreading all over the world. Is this the end? Sometimes I ask myself, is this really happening or am I only dreaming? But truth never lies. Yes, we are facing a great struggle and what can we contribute to help mankind to this virus?

The government headed by our untiring president, had spoken. Our leaders gave orders, rules and regulations what has to be and what has not to be done when enhanced quarantine was implemented. It can minimize the spread of the virus if people are quarantined because according to scientists, it will vanish by itself without a host to cling into it.

Every day, number of Covid patients rise continuously. This is very alarming. How can we help? STAY AT HOME… this is the best way to lessen the number of infected patients. Many people risk their lives to protect and serve us even in return they have no assurance if they can go back to their love ones. These are the front line workers that serve selflessly for our welfare.

As a teacher and part of the education sector, I thanked them all for their courage and deep commitment to serve the Filipino people. Prayer is the most powerful weapon that we can use to fight this battle. God who created the world only knows what will happen.

In this times of trial, we must help each other. Unity, trust and faith are our shields that could protect us until this battle ends. I hope one day, what had happen will only be a nightmare. We will win in this fight because of love and faith. We will all survive because of togetherness. Lastly, we will live in a better world full of hope.
