New CL top cop thanks Guv, Pampanga officials
FERNANDO- Newly installed Central Luzon Police Director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon has thanked Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda and other Pampanga officials for supporting the peace and order campaign.
De Leon also expressed gratitude to the governor for looking after the welfare of the men and women in uniform especially in this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He congratulated the
Pampanga police for scoring high ratings in performance evaluation from the 2nd quarter of 2019 up to the 1st quarter of 2020.
He urged the troops to maximize their service to the people and to strive for more impr ovem ent s.
“Ako ay naniniwala na ang ating kapulisan sa Pampanga will perform to greater heights. Magle-level up ang kanilang performance, dahil kundi, nakakahiya naman lalo na’t suportado sila ni Governor Delta,” De Leon said in a recognition ceremony timed with his command visit last Wednesday.
On the blessing of the newly renovated situation room, De Leon said: “Talagang masuwerte kayo. Maliban sa napakaganda ng opisina ninyo, you have a very, very supportive governor.”
Pineda promised to give incentives to policemen who are recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty.
In the same event, the governor committed to continue supporting the Pampanga police under Col. Andres Simbajon, Jr. to be able to ensure the safety of the people and socioeconomic development of the province.
He particularly directed the police to arrest suspects in illegal drugs trade.
