TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP

Marita M. Fernandez

-

“Men make history and not the other way around. In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skilful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better.” - Former US President Harry Truman

Transformational leadership with so much significance has to come into several folds. The concept of a school head is an extension of the theory in the field where stimulating high level of objectives as to build, establish or create an atmosphere of mutual, trust and respect goes beyond.

I believe I have set what is asked of my leadership, parameters which I went beyond. In a year of sincere service, the following made my family, my teachers and the environment I embraced for 35 years.

First, I have attended a seminar on transformational and innovative leadership where I adopted in my STNHS home and family. Then, STNHS is a pure ground where your feet are literally stepping into. Now, the used to be ground is a stronghold of success and achievement.

STNHS has acquired its LEVEL 2 recognition following indicators set as standards. STNHS now has a covered court where I together with our team and stakeholders kept pushing to be built.

STNHS now has a 3 storey building where we can house thousands of students conveniently and comfortably. I have taken part in monitoring and knocking to our beloved LGU’s.

STNHS now has started build my own stage where I initiated and collaborated to PTA Officers and Alumni.

For my teachers, I have empowered my teachers and inspired them to be themselves at their finest and follow to name some:

1.Ma’am Rolylyn H. Dado – who is now the lead education for TVI

-Assisted CID and all EPSs in the design and creation of modules

-Quality assistance team for the much needed pandemic intervention for learners -A DepEd National and Regional representation for LDMs

2.TVI Presenters for the much needed education aid for television – Ma’am Raycee Kea P. Bondoc, Rachelle V. Dela Cruz, Jessica C. Zapata and Monina A. David

3.Division Module Writer – Ruffa L. Bonus

4.Created a pool and heroes who painstakingly service on students and on my management team and my beloved faculty where every day continuously follow what is ask of them.

5.My significant ADAS who is an epitome of promptness and efficiency.
