Zero damage in Covid-19 facilities in NCC after ‘Ulysses’— BCDA
NEW CLARK CITY, Tarlac – The Bases Conver sion and Development Authority (BCDA) reported zero damages in COVID-19 facilities in New Clark City (NCC) after Typhoon Ulysses hit most parts of Luzon.

Dizon led today the inspection of the National Government Administrative Center (NGAC) which currently houses 428 asymptomatic and with mild symptoms patients of COVID-19.
“Thankfully, there are no damages in the NGAC facility despite the strong winds and heavy rains brought about by the typhoon. The resilient metropolis of NCC has always been ready for any and all situations, including strong typhoons,” Dizon said.
Patients staying in the 700-maximum capacity facility are returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), and residents of Pampanga and Tarlac.
Also, Dizon checked on the situation and needs of health workers given that the admission of patients has been rising to 40 patients per day for the past two weeks.
“We are very thankful to our health workers who are tirelessly taking care of the patients. They never faltered in serving our patients in spite of the typhoon,” he noted.
Aside from the inspection, a total of three recovered patients were sent-off.
Apart from NGAC, the Athletes’Village in NCC likewise serves as a quarantine facility for the residents of Pampanga and Tarlac.
Moreover, it served as a quarantine facility for OFWs repatriated from Wuhan, China, and repatriates from the MV Diamond Princess and Diamond Grand Princess in February and March.
The COVID-19 quarantine facilities in Clark have provided medical care and treatment to a total of 10,000 individuals and counting. (PIA 3)
