The Department of Education: It’s Importance

DEPED or the Department of Education is one the government agencies we have in our country. It’s main function is to ensure education to all the Filipinos ,providing quality education to everyone is the main function of this agency. It has formal and informal ways of rendering knowledge to everyone. This agency introduces different programs to uplift the literacy rate of all the citizens of the country.

This is the only government agency that has the biggest numbers of employees and it is always the priority of the government in the allocation of the annual budget Why? It’s because the government believed that education is very important to everyone. Leaders do believed that educated citizens can help in uplifting the economic and social status of the nation because if everybody is educated they can have stable job that will serve as a big help for the stability of the economy.

If all the citizens of legal age the country are all working the unemployment problem will be solved and if all the Filipinos of legal age are working they will become assets of the government because they will help in multiplying the finances of the nation through their taxes. Taxes are important for the stability of the government in all its aspects: politically, socially and economically. In order to achieve all of these, the Department of Education is very much responsible in educating all the citizens of the nation, because education is one of the major keys to materialize all of this.
