Teachers in the new normal…alive and kicking!
Rachelle R. Pamintuan
More than a month now when the school year 2020-2021 started. How were the teachers adapted the changes? As educators gear with the “new normal” set-up in this coronavirus pandemic, this is the appropriate time were teachers play an integral part in an educational system designed to provide students with a more rigorous, integrated and personalized learning experience with support structures and interventions designed to help them succeed on their learning journey.
Teachers are transitioning through a particularly uncertain time in terms of their professional lives and work, they engaged in different platforms in delivering the lessons. The learning modalities today is more difficult than the usual, teaching outside the classroom, but the commitment of teaches are still to provide quality education. One of the learning modalities of public schools is printed modules, given weekly to the students to be studied at home. Likewise, teachers work on the possible ways to connect to their learners so to extend help in understanding the lessons. With many challenges today in the line of education, teachers see these as an opportunity to grow professionally and giving the best of effort to convey learning.
This time, face-to-face learning is still impossible, yet educators are making ways to reach every learner and see to it that no child is left behind.
We will not give up, together we can! Always alive and kicking to serve our school children and our country.
