The issue of environment and climate change awareness tormented our nation for quite a long time and during this year 2020 many environmental issues that raised up. The controversial Proposed Kaliwa Dam in the mountain ranges of Sierra Madre where is rich in habitat of many living organisms, abundant trees and has a purpose of weakening the typhoons from Pacific Ocean. On the other hand, our planet is confronting a major risk--climate change. So that up to this day many environmentalist activists promoting to protect our environment and spread awareness about the causes of climate change. They addressed that we need to have a long-term solutions and immediate response to adhere these problems because everyone affects by it. But why we need to strengthen our awareness? The effects of our improper actions toward the environments is worsening and it need immediate response. Strengthening awareness can turn into an ecological steward and partake in making a more promising time for our future generations. This awareness cultivates a sense of connection to the natural world, promotes sustainable development and encourage the conservation of non-renewable resources as well as protecting the biodiversity. This awareness has good effects not just for environment but also for animals and for us that depends their life to it. Before we can start advancing environmental and climate change awareness in our own locale it should start from ourselves. We need to educate ourselves and initially ensure that we have an intensive comprehension of ecological issues. Keeping awake to date on news about environment and perusing extensive books about ecological dangers are both incredible assets to strengthen our awareness. Then spread awareness to people around us-friends, colleagues and family. We can use social media that is powerful tool to be aware and spread awareness about the crisis happening in our environment. This awareness includes tangible practices and taking responsibility of protecting the environment and reducing the effects of climate change. Doing the 3 R’s reduce waste, reuse resources, and recycle materials. We also need limit or, rather totally quit utilizing plastic. Utilizing fabric or paper packs to convey or discard things would be an excellent cure. Arranging trash appropriately, in trash bins, and isolating the biodegradable waste from the non-biodegradable squanders is a brilliant method to diminish pollution levels. Destroyed substances must be reused with the goal that they can be reused. On a second note, climate change is a demonstrated truth and global warming boost has made genuine changes the planet. As people we can hinder a dangerous atmospheric deviation by minimize our carbon footprints like utilizing our vehicle less, at whatever point conceivable, rather utilize feasible transportation, for example, bicycling, or utilize public transportation all the more regularly. Saving energy by taking a look at the labels on our appliances, and never leave them on standby and demand sustainable measures in our government to reduce the effects of climate change. Moreover, we need to look to the positive of our good actions to our environment like we will able to protect the animal’s habitat and the extinction of many species will not take place. Conserving the environment would certainly improve the health of people and most noteworthy, reduce many diseases. Environment is a valuable blessing on this planet. We need to remind ourselves that we are the one who needs the environment and we depend our lives on it.
