QI Pampanga donates face shields, face masks on 25 anniversary
MASANTOL— Quota International (QI) of Pampanga celebrated its 25th year anniversary with a series of donation activities, chief of which is the donation of face shields and masks to Barangay Sagrada Familia here.
The said barangay is the non-government organization’s adopted barangay. The barangay and its community and schools have been the beneficiaries of various donations, medical and dental missions, feeding programs and other events hosted by QI Pampanga and its service partners.
QI Pampanga past president Malou Garbes turned over 400 pieces of face shields and 200 boxes of face mask for the barangay. The materials will be distributed to homes as protection and to prevent the spread of the corona virus in the said barangay.
Quota International is a non-profit organization empowering women, children, the deaf, hard-ofhearing, and speech-impaired in local communities around the world. Founded in 1919, Quota International is one of the oldest international service organizations for women.
QI’s presence in Pampanga is made manifest by QI of Pampanga and QI of Angeles City. QI Pampanga is now celebrating its 25th year.
Quotarians are known especially for their service to disadvantaged women and children and deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired people.
MABALACAT CITY --The city government has recently recorded 13 new cases of COVID 19.
These bring the total number of corona virus cases in this component city to 693 as of December 1, 2020.
Of the 13 new patients, seven were tested in the city's swab testing area and six in other molecular laboratories and hospitals in Pampanga, the City Health Office (CHO) said.
Four of them are household contacts, two were exposed in workplaces in Clark and Angeles City and one was exposed in a health facility.
