Some Apps Teachers Can Use for Digital Learning

Since teachers interact with their students remotely under the digital learning, I made a research on some of the online applications that teachers can use for their lessons.

These apps include Google Apps for Education, Dropbox, ClassDojo, Edmodo, and TEDTalk.

Google has a suite of apps that are specifically designed for educators. One of these apps is Google Hangouts which allows students to have video-based conversations from different locations. This app can greatly help in conducting online discussions and debates.

Meanwhile, Dropbox allows teachers and students to easily share files and online documents. The app has a number of features that allow teachers to share specific folders with their students, which students can access them from their computers. This app also has a mobile versions which allow students to view and edit them from their tablet or smartphone.

In terms of providing feedback to students’ performances, ClassDojo is the best app to use. The app puts more emphasis on providing “positive feedback” to students. Teachers can also add more detailed information about the student’s performance or behavior, or send public or private messages to parents about their children’s progress.

On the other hand, Edmodo serve as a conduit for submitting assignments, getting grades, and sending any relevant information to your students. It makes it easier to post assignments, messages, polls, quizzes, calendars, and other classroom resources that both teachers and students can access online.

Lastly, TED Talk provides a library of video lectures that cover a wide range of topics that can be used in the classroom to supplement teachers’ prepared lessons.

There are many other apps that teachers can use to assist them with their online lessons. These are just some of them.
