Arayat mayor named ‘most outstanding’anew

ARAYAT - Mayor Emmanuel "Bon" Alejandrino of this town was again named by the Superbrands Marketing International as the 2020 Most Outstanding Mayor (MOMA)ofthe Philippines.
This is the sixth consecutive year that Alejandrino has bagged the prestigious award following his winning streak which started in 2015.
During the simple awarding ceremony held in a resort in Barangay Gatiawin here, Alejandrino credited the award to his fellow local officials and government employees who joined him in his crusade to develop their
He also acknowledged the continuous support of his wife, Barangay Health Workers HeadMadeth Alejandrino, who, he said, played a huge role in the local government's fight against Covid-19.
"And of course, the people of Arayat who trusted and believed in my leadership and way of governance.
Due to our unity and oneness, we were able to bring Arayat into where it is now: a progressive, orderly and peaceful town," he said.
Aside from the MOMA fete, Alejandrino also bagged the Philippine Top Choice Award for Excellentand Outstanding Leaders. Alejandrino expressed gratitude to private sectors for their recognition of his efforts, but said that awards are just bonuses for doing his duty to the Arayateños. "I am very grateful for our private sector partners who recognize my effort to develop and make Arayat one of the premier municipalities and hopefully a city in the coming years," he said.
