-

The Department of Education has started implementing the “The New Normal in Education” and having said that the philosophy of our dear Secretary Briones has mentioned that “No students will be left behind.” This is a great challenge to all administrators and teachers to step up and fulfil its mission.

The conventional setting where teachers are on a face-to-face situation with students and now the opposite make us as teachers need to realize the major adjustment and the adoptability for this leap. First, a new learning delivery and of course identifying which is best suited to our learners or even know which ranked 1st in the survey of what to use. Secondly, what and where to get the learning materials and resources? This can also be worked on as to having researches from the different portals or even create a supplementary learning materials to back up the modules cascaded from either national or regional and even division made. Thirdly, the delivery system, the orientation and psychological preparations. Furthermore, the lesson plan format from the daily log or detailed lesson plan to the new work-week home plan. Lastly, monitoring, evaluation and assessment concepts. These are so important to target to make sure of students’ understanding.

There will be no tomorrow its just today to face this great challenge but one thing is for sure, TEACHERS ARE READY for in our FLEXIBILITY and PASSION to work is in us.
