The global pandemic leaves trails of disaster not only in the areas of health but also in the academe. Its potential long-term health consequenc­es will definitel all strokes and layers of industries. Leaders were forced to do mindshift in leadeing organizati­ons. Decison making capacities and adaptive leadership response enable the organizati­ons to strive and srvive amidst the challnges brough about by the pandemic.

These challenges made educationa­l leaders to be innovative and responsive in dealing with issues concerning the operations of the schools. The direct and indirect effects of the pandemic are needed to be addressed strategica­lly. The Philippine government found ways to assist educationa­l leaders in implementi­ng Learning Continuity Plan (LCP) as we face the threats of pandemic. The leaders took big leaps in innovating ways on how to deliver education among all target clientele with diverse needs and capacities. Online classes, TV-Based learning-Radio Learning and even modular approach were made possible based on the needs and availabili­ty of resources.

These changes brought about the emergence of leaders who embraced change in the human behavior. It is in this time when leaders became more nurturing to their constituen­ts and clientele. Education became more accessible when things around us prhibits us to live the life that we uased to have. The pandemic did not just teast the health system but also educationa­l leadership and how to implement “business as usual”.
