Attending seminars has long been a part of the lives of teachers and will continue be one. As they say, learning is a continuous process and teachers are the living proof to that. We continue to strive for professional growth and development. Not only for us, but also for our students.

Seminars provide teachers the opportunity to fully explore topics that are new to them or topics that they have little knowledge. It helps teachers in keeping up with the latest learning trends to be able to cater the needs of the students. Speakers that are said to be expert on the topics are there to impart their knowledge, discuss, guide and even let teachers explore and share experiences during seminars.

While attending seminars, teachers are given the chance to ask questions, share their ideas, interact with others and eventually make new friends. They can even visit other places especially when it is held in a different town. But because of the pandemic seminars for teachers were turned into webinars.

In an in-person seminar, participants are physically present in the venue. A webinar is an online seminar that is held via the Web. Participants are attending virtually with the use of their cellphones, tablets, laptops or computers.

Ever since the pandemic, seminars, trainings and workshops for teachers are being conducted virtually thru Webinars. Since in-person seminars are risky, webinars are the best way to prepare and train teachers.

Since webinars are cost-efficient, offer flexible learning experience, convenient, has wider reach, and easy to use and organize, it looks like it is here to stay for a long time.

In an instant, everything has changed and will continue to change. We are lucky that with the unpredictable turn of events, technology is helping us to cope up in our everyday lives and at work.
