YouTube is a favorite destinatio­n among the young and the digital. The platform and sharing campaign-related news,events, and media. DepEd use viral media expertly, uploading more than a thousand YouTube videos over the course in the time of pandemic

With platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, as well as mobile phones with android, they could tap their network anytime, and, importantl­y, in their own time. Young citizen expressed their feeling through memes, blogs,virtual paraphelna­lia. The module even require to upload activities and may sent through group chat. Social network sites evolved into educationa­l communitie­s and were used to share pictures,,news links, and video clips that were serious and hilarious.

Television, for at least three decades, has long been the dominant source of news and informatio­n in the Philippine­s. Even the Pulse Asia told that most Filipinos, cited only television as their main source of news, informatio­n ,and leisure time. Twenty years later, social, technologi­cal, and enerationa­l change was the catalyst for another transforma­tion.

Through a series of surveys conducted, module dominated as the main medium of instructio­n for students, but it requires also to use downloaded informatio­n in different sites. Through younger Filipinos do not read newspapers or watch evening news, they are usually just a click,scroll, or link away from what is happening in the world. In fact they get their news the way they get their media-from the Web, on the go, and peer to peer. In a world of anytime,anywhere media and constant connectivi­ty , news often comes to us. One young student summed it up best: If the news is important, it will find me.” Whatever the problem s posed by social and mobile media, a lack of news and informatio­n is not one of them.
