Mabalacat mayor: ‘Let’s continue the hard work’
MABALACAT CITY, PAMPANGA – “By doing our duties with promptness, enthusiasm and compassion, we are reciprocating what the government has been providing us with. Let us continue the hard work!”
Thus said Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo in front of all the city government employees who participated in this year’s first flag-raising rites held Monday at the City Hall of M abal acat .
During the rites, MCG commended all the employees who have been in the frontline since the onset of the global battle against COVID-19. Nevertheless, the mayor urged them to continue people-centered public service despite the pressing dangers of the pandemi c.
“Even the other LGUs have already started their respective flag ceremonies. This signifies a call for us to move forward and continue the work for our fellow Mabalaqueños. Rest assured that I will always join you in this battlefield,” said Garbo.

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— Elements of the City of San Fernando Police led by Lieutenant Col. John Clark arrested three suspects here in a weekend buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of 62 grams of suspected shabu worth P421,600.
Police operative swooped in at Bulaon Resettlement here on Saturday evening which resulted in the arrests of suspects Clairem Yalung, Patrick Garcia and one minor, all residents of the said resettlement area.
The operatives also confiscated from suspects 13 pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu approximately 62 grams with an estimated street value of P421,600. Police operatives also confiscated the marked money with serial no. DL563663 rolled together with 29 pieces boodle money among others.
The buy-bust operation was a result of an intelligence reports received by the San Fernando Police.
Suspects are now under the custody of the City of San Fernando Police Station while suspected
illegal drugs will be brought to Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory for examination.
