My New Normal Routine

It is 2021, a fresh start from the disastrous 2020. With the virus lurking around every corner, the government devised plans to cease the spreading of the disease. The new normal protocols are basically the following rules: Wear your mask, wear your face shields, and practice physical, practice physical distancing, and always sanitize. With the protocols considered and out of the way, I would like to share my morning routine for you to develop a strong sense of method and planning.

Time to Wake Up!

I wake up everyday at 5:30 in the morning. I always start my day with a prayer, I think about the things I am grateful for; my kids, my wife, my job, and so on. After praying, it’s time to feed our dogs. While the dogs are eating, I will prepare my multivitamins to help my immune system fight viruses and illnesses.

Time to Pump Iron!

5:45 am is the time to do my fasted cardio for 15 minutes. Fasted cardio helps me a lot losing unnecessary weight that I accumulated in the past holiday season. The I start to lift weights to tone down my muscles and keep my testosterone levels up.

Time to Prepare!

Right about 6:30 am I will go to my bathroom and take a bath. After a refreshing cold bath, which helps my muscles not to be sore and inflamed, I will moisturize my face and hands. I will dress up and go to SFES because I am part of the SFESial production team which curates educational TV programs for young Fernandinos. My travel time to school is also the time to listen to podcasts or audiobooks to keep my mind learning different things everyday.

Time to Shoot and Grind!

This will be the last part of my morning. W hen we get to the studio, we will have a briefing to orient the production team what is the agenda for the day. We will then brainstorm, shoot, and edit the clips to be aired on television.

The new normal brought an immensely radical change on how we live and interact with one another. I hope that this adversity that we are currently facing may bring us drive and more passion in what we do. I sincerely believe that a key to a happy life is to stay in love with God, love your wife and family, be fit, and love your job!
