Teaching is not as easy as it may seem. Anyone may stand in front and talk, but only educators can teach in a systematic way and provide activities that would process learning. It didn’t take someone to be a teacher in a snap. It is a four-year course with rigorous trainings and various actual demonstration teaching. And, to be able to practice the profession, aside from the hard-earned diploma, teachers must pass the Licensure Examination that qualifies them to teach in the public school system. This just means that a teacher, once has earned diploma, passed the examination and has taken oath, means indeed someone who is expert in terms of the rudiments in teaching. It means that he wouldn’t just stand in front to talk, but is a person who knows a lot in terms of the things that must be done in the teaching-learning process.Unlike other jobs, transcripts and diplomas, plus some questions to answer during interview, a newly-graduate teacher who seeks for a teaching position would undergo tougher process. Aside fro the aforementioned things that shall be undergone, a teacher must prove himself as someone who is effective in terms of language by taking various exams, including English tests and must also have demonstration teaching. And once In the field, regular classroom observations and portfolio submissions are always done to prove that you are delivering quality education to the learners. School heads would not just evaluate you by paper, but would also evaluate you by monitoring the class on a regular basis. With all of these being said, indeed, to be a teacher means to undergo a tough journey. It is like inserting a thread in a needle before lying on a bed of roses. So with all of these, teaching cannot be underestimated. Thus, if you have been qualified and called to be one, you are blessed.
