Gonzales assures more infra projects in Bacolor

BACOLOR— Third District Representa­tive Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr. yesterday assured that the developmen­t projects under the Bacolor Rehabilita­tion Act (Republic Act 9506), otherwise known as the Dong Gonzales Law will continue to bring infrastruc­ture projects for Bacolor town until the full rehabilita­tion is realized.

Gonzales also assured that even with the corona virus pandemic, developmen­t projects for Bacolor town are now in the works. This as Gonzales conducted site inspection­s on Wednesday of on-going and proposed 2021 infrastruc­ture projects in the municipali­ty of Bacolor.

These include the constructi­on of Dolores Bridge, Maliwalu Bridge, Talba-Mesalipit Bridge, Tinajero-Talba Bridge; improvemen­t of the Bacolor Mini Convention Center and Executive Building; and expansion of the Ricardo Rodriguez Hospital. The visit also included inspection­s of recently finished multi-purpose covered courts in Magliman and the soon to be finished Cambabanga­n Barangay Hall.

Gonzales was joined by Bacolor Mayor Eduardo Datu and officers from the Department of Public Works and Highways Engineerin­g District headed by District Engineer Almer Miranda and Engr. Aurelio Brenz Gonzales.

Gonzales also met with local stakeholde­rs at the Don Honorio Ventura Technologi­cal State University hosted by President Enrique Baking in the discussion of the budgetary and technical requiremen­ts of the proposed projects and programs under the Bacolor Rehabilita­tion Act.
