Urgent appeal from Pope Francis, archbishop
From our family Messenger account, I got the following urgent message from my uncle Lipa Archbishop Emeritus Ramon Ar gu el l es:
“I sent this already to many but let me say it again today 27 Jan 2021 with greater urgency because it is already the pope who emphasizes that only God Who does wonderful deeds can save the world from Coronavirus and all other impending ills!”
He goes on: “Please let us pray !!! Pope Francis asks priests to open the doors of their churches and invite the people to pray the Holy Rosary and pray intensely before the Tabernacle. He asks us to go to ou nearest parishes or Church.
“He alerted the world saying: ‘Wars, famines, are latent; the evil one is among us ... To stop his plans, we must pray to God to pour out his Mercy on the world and that the Holy Spirit enlighten the rulers to be aware of good and evil and fight together for peace and love.’
“He tells priests that the Eucharist be (made) simple and loving. Pray, pray, pray.
"We will all unite in prayer every day. Wherever you are in the world, at your preferred time, drop everything and pray 3 times the Our Father and 3 Hail Mary’s. Pray to God to send his Holy Spirit on earth.”
And then the appeal in capital letters: “PLEASE SHARE THE MESSAGE AMONG YOUR LOVED ONES. AMEN !!” (End of quote.)
Yes, Pope Francis has many critics, but he is still our pope and should be prayed for.
And so we march on, perhaps with trepidation, into this era of tribulation, guided by continuing messages from Heaven.
Among these messages was one given by Our Blessed Mother to mystic Gisella Cardia last Jan. 21:
“Beloved children, thank you for being here in prayer and for having responded to my call in your hearts. My children, I urge you to decide which side you will stand on.
I your Mother am here: I am waiting for a sign from you in order to give you many graces — I am speaking above all to humanity that has given itself over to the world. Call me, invoke me and I will always be ready to come to your aid. Children, the illumination is near; I ask my little remnant to clothe yourselves with light and put on finest armor, and I will put you in the frontline.
“Now I need you: you will be protected and made invisible by my angels. Evil will continue to take away souls to hell, and thus you will need to be apostles and to evangelize with great courage and faith. Be courageous and shout out the truth; do not be afraid. Children, love and let yourselves be anointed; place all your pains in the most precious wounds of my Son. Now I leave you with my Maternal blessing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.”
Again to Gisella last Jan. 26:
“My daughter, tell the world that faith is the only hope that humanity has: only prayer, charity and love will be its salvation. The times predicted from Fatima onwards have arrived – no one will be able to say that I had not given warnings. Many have been the prophets and seers chosen to announce the truth and the dangers of this world, yet many have not listened and still do not listen.
“I weep over these children who are being lost; the apostasy of the Church is increasingly clear – my favored sons (priests?) have refused my protection. My daughter, tell the world to pray for the powerful, because they will unleash a great war. Pray for the Church, because she is being destroyed; pray for Italy because she will weep for her dead – famine is near and you are not prepared. Another virus is at the gates and it will be worse than the previous one.
“Children, why do you still not understand? Protect yourselves: pray, pray much. Baptize children and pray for them, because evil wants to take their innocence. Now I leave you with the blessing of the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.” In Brazil, Our Blessed Mother also told mystic Pedro Regis last Jan. 26:
“Dear children, God is making haste. Return to Him who loves you and awaits you with Open Arms. Do not forget: in everything, God first. Humanity is walking along the paths of self-destruction that men have prepared with their own hands.
“You are heading towards a future of spiritual darkness. Seek the Lord and do not live in sin. Do not leave what you have to do until tomorrow. I am your Mother and I want to help you. Be obedient to My Call. Do not depart from prayer.
“The great shipwreck of faith will affect those who are far from prayer and from living the faith. Repent and assume your true role as Christians. Go forward on the path of truth. Accept the Gospel of My Jesus and the teachings of the true Magisterium of his Church. This is the message that I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once more. I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.”
And then last Jan. 25, Pedro received the following message from Our Blessed Mother:
“Dear children, be meek and humble of heart, for only thus can you grow in your spiritual lives. Say your Yes to the Lord’s Call. Turn away from the world. You are the Lord’s Possession and Him alone should you follow and serve. Humanity has become contaminated with the world’s innovations and is walking in spiritual blindness.
“Flee from everything that distances you from my Son, Jesus. Be attentive. I want your speech and action to be in accordance with God’s Desire. A great storm will come and the great vessel will suffer great damage. [2] I suffer over what comes to you. Bend your knees in prayer. Seek Jesus in the Eucharist and accept the teachings of the true Magisterium of his Church. Onward in defense of the truth.
“This is the message that I give you today in the name of the Most Holy Trinity. Thank you for having allowed Me to gather you here once more. I bless you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Be at peace.“
