Catastrophic Paradise

Marianne E. Vilaga

-

As I compose this treatise, there are 7,380,192,575 people in this planet and 2,802,910,140 of them are consumers. Imagine these billions of people consuming our Mother Earth’s reservoirs, nourish it in return while you still can. Nothing’s worse than knowing it’s too late for you to make a change before the bedevilled fate comes. Now that there are more than 7 billion people on Earth, small changes from a large number of individuals would unquestionably mend this breathtaking disaster we have. Never take Mother Earth for granted because once upon a time, she gave us a heavenly home. Would you want these resources to dwindle down to zero? Luckily, we have an environment that is a servant at no cost but perhaps, it will get tired eventually. Know how to preserve these remainders, dear. Uncertainty possesses our future. W ithout these plants, whereCatastrophic Paradise

Without these plants, where would you gasp for air? Without these supplies, what would you guzzle up? Everyday, we inevitably consume. Conceptualize these billions of human beings devouring Mother Earth. We have limited resources being consumed by unlimited people.

As Mahatma Gandhi said, the Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not every man’s greed. And perhaps, the finest way to save this catastrophic paradise is to conserve and preserve. Before tomorrow, Mother Earth plays the role of a damsel in distress. Wouldn’t it be great if we’d be her knights in shining armors?

Broken glasses, charred leaves, wadded papers, polluted air, contaminated water and trimmed down trees… a perfect picture of mayhem, isn’t it? From evergreen trees to monstrous towers, from a peaceful countryside to an engaged city, from a paradise to a graveyard… truly terrifying. Mother Earth is crying in sorrow, please wake up now and wipe her tears off.

Learn how to sow plants and trees, after all, it is your source to sustain life. Recycle as much as you can, believe me, it helps a lot. Avoid burning wastes, be pragmatic. Pardon me if I have to burst your bubble, but dear, it’s now or never.

And as I am about to finish this treatise of mine, there are currently 7,380,201,076 people in this world and now, 2,802,925,949 of them are consumers. Every second, another mass of consumers is born. There has to be another mass of resources to consume too. The next generation’s welfare and daily living are the ones at stake, being practical never impaired anyway. While developing these technologies for the benefit of every mankind, still, you need to be constantly reminded of the roles you play here. It must’ve been very painful for Mother Earth. We’re slowly killing what makes us live. If you won’t be the one to start making changes, then who will? If you won’t be the one to start mending this satisfying tear, then who will? Come with me, dear. We’ll drive down the road to a better home. would you gasp for air? Without these supplies, what would you guzzle up? Everyday, we inevitably consume.
