The current crisis has made the education sector transform its system into an improved and stronger distance learning system. The alternative delivery mode (ADM) offers equal quality of basic education through home-based learning guided by parents, guardians or tutors. As the school year progresses, there are so many transitions that have occurred in the implementation of the learning modalities. The ultimate goal of the teachers is to create and maintain an engaging and effective education process. One way to achieve this is digital transformation in schools.

Digital transformation would also mean boosting digital equity in education which means every student has access to learning resources. Schools can plan for an easier and less expensive way of digitizing all learning resources readily available for learners. There are a lot of advantages in digital transformation. First is it will save money instead of printing modules and other learning resources plus it helps conserving our natural resources for paper. Second is the convenience in distribution of the learning resources, one clicks and it is quickly open for all. Lastly, the learning resources last long enabling students to study in their comfort zone. Empowering teachers with the techniques in using digital education will entice students’ interest in learning. Customizing the learning experience for the students will help motivate students to learn independently. Through the digital transformation in education, effective and engaging process of learning can be achieved.
