Teachers ensure effective learning delivery amid pandemic

TEACHERS will always be the partners of the Department of Education (DepEd) in ensuring that learning delivery will be effective amid the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In view of this, the DepEd has recognized the efforts of teachers – both in public and private schools – in the transition of the country’s education from face-to-face learning to modular and online methods.
The DepEd also mentioned the demands on teaching, on curriculum and on technology, as well as all the requirements to make a small, effective in delivering learning, that teachers have to bear.
According to the agency, its people – meaning its personnel and educators – are prepared to make sacrifices to make sure that children get the education they deserve.
This education, the DepEd said, will prepare them for the future and whatever lies a h ea d .
Just recently, the DepEd and international education advocates lauded the efforts of teachers worldwide amid the COVID-19 pandemic during the “Stories of Revitalization and Excellence: 2021 IDE Virtual Forum” as part of this year’s International Day of Education.
The event has for a theme, “Recover and Revitalize Education for the COVID-19 Generation,” where various international resource speakers shared their respective insights, experiences, and best practices in facing the new normal in the education system.
The Department also pointed out various interventions that it has introduced amid the pandemic to ensure the learning continuity that includes the contextualization of the Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) and the introduction of Education Futures Pr ogr am ( EFP) .
