The 1976 prophecy from a priest now surfacing

Has there been a time when I had second thoughts about the apocalyptic articles I have been sharing in various media? Over a decade ago, I had entertained the possibility that I could be sharing data from false prophets to qualify me as a fearmonger. But in the recent years, my confidence has been unswerving, having uncovered apocalyptic declarations of the same vein from a series of popes, starting with Pope Paul VI.

I have always kept my views to a minimum in my articles, since mystics are conveying no less than verbatim words from divine sources. I would not dare assume readers would have my views rather than the messages themselves, clear as they have always been.

Thus, I have stuck to my decision to remain a small messenger responding to the call from Heaven to spread appeals, counsels, warnings, etc. from the divine, in this era of the great spiritual battle for souls. The times are urgent, and the Vatican is left with no chance to vet reported supernatural events now happening all over the world.

Most of the messages inspire fear, even unspeakable trepidation, but I always echo what’s being emphasized through the mystics: the salvation of everlasting souls is the prize worth even of terr or.

But I should quote Garabandal visionary Conchita, who turned 72 years old last Sunday, as saying that knowing the warnings of chastisements from the Blessed Mother would be worth nothing if there is no conversion. And that true and deep conversion should not inspire fear over any future.

This, amid the epoch biblical tribulations.

Scientists are saying disturbances being documented by the proliferation of smart phones with cameras have become more unusual in their kind and number, and certainly not because more people have devices with which to record them. Scientific statistics bear out unusual increase in disasters worldwide starting in the 70’s.

Then also, more and more countries are being shaken by political adversities. Such were in the prophecies of old and the new.

And the warnings continue to be given through credible Catholic mystics. Let me share one given by

My Child, I tell you this, that great change is coming. Do not lose hope to this lost and broken world for the drum beats of justice are marching forward and the counterfeiters of deception are soon to be brought to light.

“Great shaking is soon to come all around this world for as the tables of injustice are turning over, the world will begin to tremble. The sirens of man will ring out, but the trumpets of heaven will give greater warning to the world that has turned away from the truth, turned away from Me for I am Jesus.

“I must simplify in order to purify, and I must purify in order to simplify. It is time to awaken from your slumber of complacency, you are here on a mission which is to love and serve your Creator. I came to divide and just as I separated day and night and the land from the sea, I will bring the world to its knees in great humility. I am reaching out in Mercy to warn you that to many of you have given custody of your soul over to the great decei ver.

“The unmasking has begun, and many are soon to face their hour of reckoning. I have sent My mother to pave the way for My return.

She has lovingly warned her children that the earth is not your true home. Come to Me My Children and return to the Sacraments. Reconcile your soul before your King. Look inside the manger and you will obtain everything you need for I am Jesus, and My Mercy and Justice will prevail.”

Catholics, particularly in the US, are also recalling these days a prophecy made in 1976 by the late Fr. Michael Scanlan (December 1, 1931 – January 7, 2017). He was a Catholic priest of the Franciscan Third Order Regular.

His prophecy, now known as the 1976 Prophecy purportedly from Jesus Christ, seemed primarily for Americans and went as follows (Way, way back before Covid 19) :

“Son of man, do you see that city going bankrupt? Are you willing to see all your cities going bankrupt? Are you willing to see the bankruptcy of the whole economic system you rely on now so that all money is worthless and cannot support you?

“Son of man, do you see the crime and lawlessness in your city streets, and towns, and institutions? Are you willing to see no law, no order, no protection for you except that which I myself will give you?

“Son of man, do you see the country which you love and which you are now celebrating— a country’s history that you look back on with nostalgia? Are you willing to see no country— no country to call your own except those I give you as my body? Will you let me bring you life in my body and only there?

“Son of man, do you see those churches which you can go to so easily now?

Are you ready to see them with bars across their doors, with doors nailed shut? Are you ready to base your life only on me and not on any particular structure? Are you ready to depend only on me and not on all the institutions of schools and parishes that you are working so hard to foster?

“Son of man, I call you to be ready for that. That is what I am telling you about.

The structures are falling and changing— it is not for you to know the details now— but do not rely on them as you have been. I want you to make a deeper commitment to one another.

I want you to trust one another, to build an interdependence that is based on my Spirit. It is an interdependence that is no luxury.

It is an absolute necessity for those who will base their lives on me and not the structures from a pagan world. I have spoken and it will take place. My word will go forth to my people.

They may hear and they may not— and respond accordingly— but this is my word.

“Look about you, son of man.

When you see it all shut down, when you see everything removed which has been taken for granted, and when you are prepared to live without these things, then you will know what I am making ready.”
