During this new normal, changes took place especially in education. Due to the restrictions of going outside of our homes and attend in a face to face set-up, the learning process nowadays becomes too complicated. Different problems arises in the new normal way of teaching. One of which is the ability of the teacher to use the internet. The seasoned teachers as we call them are having a hard time dealing with the use of internet. Now in the new normal of teaching and learning process, the use internet and different application like the messenger, google drive, the zoom and other social media applications are some of the innovations to collect and transfer data needed by students and teacher. Our students also encounter lots of difficulties and problems. Some do not have an internet access. Not all have the necessary gadget like laptop or even cellular phones to be updated with their school activities. Some parents are too busy with their work that they only spare a little time to supervise their children. These are some of the new normal problems being encountered in this time of pandemic. What is to be done? I guess as a teacher in the time of pandemic I need to focus more on my students, give more time to listen to all their queries. Not all are too bright and can easily understand the module, there are some who are experiencing hard time in understanding their lessons. Given all the help needed, there are students who cannot understand the lesson, unlike in a face to face set-up where the lesson is explained by a teacher. Parents should be more engage in the educational process and that they must involve themselves in the learning process. Students can learn more even in staying at home with the guidance of their parents and with the supervision of a teacher. In today’s situation, in this time of a pandemic, the education process is just the same, students can learn either through online with the use of internet, through modules written by teachers and through other modalities like TV and RadioBased Education. Nevertheless education must continue in this difficult situation. With the different modalities students can still develop and share their ideas. Through the joint effort of the parents, students and teachers we can overcome the challenges brought about by COVID-19. The most important thing is that education will never stop and that the new normal experience in teaching and learning process is an urgent response in this kind of world em er gen cy.
