66-year old man diesfrom Covid-19

MAGALANG --- A 66-year old man from Barangay San Vicente here is the latest COVID 19 mortality in this municipali­ty.

On February 23, the Municipal Health Office (MHO) reported that the patient contracted the virus and was taken to the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital in the City of San Fernando.

The MHO at the same time recorded one new case and two patient recoveries as of March 1, 2020.

The new patient or M201 is a 23-year old woman from Barangay Santa Maria working inside the Clark Fr eepor t .

She is set to be transferre­d into a facility for isolation. Her family members already started home quarantine, according to the local officials.

These brings the total number of COVID 19 patients to 201 with 16 deaths, 172 recoveries, and 15 active cases.

He laid out some of the qualificat­ions that must be considered by voters when electing the new leaders such as those that have the right education, have word of honor and conviction in beliefs and principles, and should not be numb to the situation of poor Filipinos, rather have empathy on their daily struggles.

Santos said they are already tapping different sectors of the society such as barangay leaders, youth representa­tives, and members of the LGBT community to cascade their advocacy. He added that they are capitalizi­ng on social media platforms to reach more people and inform them of their rights to vote. Santos, meanwhile, clarified that they are not endorsing any national or local candidate as they are more focused on their campaign to educate.
