Teachers Vital Role in the Society
Carmela D. Bautista
In an era where the internet and supercomputers have taken over schools and libraries, are teachers still important?
Teaching is considered to be one of the most noble professions in the world. Teachers help shape the minds of young learners, and guide them to become contributors to societal change.
Teachers hold the power of education because, through academics, they are able to present various perspectives to students, helping them look at life in different ways.
Teachers also provide guidance to their students. Most students would guidance whether about academic interests or issues related to their personal lives. Thus, teachers’guidance and advice are crucial to a student’s academic and personal success.
Teachers are the ones who also provide guidance on pursuing higher education and participating in events that encourage growth in a student. With all these, we can see just how important teachers are in the society.
Moreover, a teacher’s dedication is immeasurable. Teachers dedicate themselves to inspire their students to work harder and push themselves. They encourage students to understand the importance of dedicating themselves to passion projects or endeavors. The more a student pushes themselves to accomplish their goals, the more they realize what they are capable of doing.
Despite all the advances in technology and learning resources, teachers continue to prove their importance in the society.
