Consistent to his promise of championing the public safety advocacy and timely in the commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan, Bustos extended recognition and honored our men and women in uniform.

“Sila ang ating mga Bagong Bayani na araw-araw ay ibinubuwis ang kanilang buhay upang protektahan ang sambayanang Pilipino; kaya mariin po ang aming panawagan sa ating mga kawani ng mga ahensya ng pamahalaan na ang lahat at bawat isa sa nangangalaga ng pampublikong kaligtasan ay agarang mabakunahan,” said Bustos, a former senior commissioned official of the PNP and now a member of the 18th Congress in the House of Representatives.
