Expecting the worse

-

VACCINE czar Carlito Galvez, Jr., issued a warning that the public should brace for a probable peaking or surge of COVID 19 infections by June or July this year.

This does not seat well with the already much abused citizenry since much has been lost in their incomes and livelihood, not to mention deaths in the family.

He says: The pandemic is far from over. There is a wrong notion that the COVID 19 is already finished in some other countries. It can reappear anytime. Unfortunately for us several variants from different country-sources have appeared and have made the battle for us harder and more difficult.

It is true that the government has started the mass inoculation program but the efficacy of the vaccines would be known from six to nine months after the start of the vaccination rollout. Hay!

In some parts of the country, MGCQ is the current classification imposed on them by the IATF.

Yet in Pampanga, the Governor is trying hard to copy whatever the NCR bubble imposes on its constituents. He has been a copycat since the start of the pandemic. Sus!

The national authorities are befuddled and confused as to why we are back to square one in our battle against COVID 19. Could it

be that we have too many cooks in the kitchen? As it is, we have czars in every imaginable aspect of the battle that is why we often have crossed lines. Whew!

In the US and other developed countries, there is only one conductor in the battle against the disease. We know of Dr. Anthony Fauci in whose shoulders lies the burden of orchestrating efforts to battle COVID 19.

It is entirely different here, especially in the IATF which oftentimes sends the wrong signals to the officials and health workers.
