Patrol Partylist leads Gapo advocacy groups launching
OLONGAPO
CITY - PATROL Party- List Representative Congress Jorge ' Patrol' Bustos led Friday's launching of Advocacy Groups , Force Multipliers and Support Groups at the Olongapo City Police Office here.
Bustos, who was the guest of honor and speaker, officiated the oath taking of several advocacy support groups and force multipliers namely KKDAT, KaligKasan, Women and LGBT, Faith Based, National Coalition of IT Advocates for Change ( NCITAC), Foreign National Keepers Network, JIPCO, Force Multipliers and Barangay Based leader s.
He was accompanied by Undersecretary Aimee Neri, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD); Police Colonel Jeric Villanueva, Acting City Director, OCPO, Mayor Nelson C. David of Limay, Bataan,
Councilor Kaye Legaspi of Olongapo City, Patrol Party- list President Rey Turla and Sec. Gen. Beda Quiambao and 11 Barangay Captains of Olongapo City.
In his speech , Bustos gave emphasis on the government's fight against illegal drugs and terrorism saying that these groups will be a big help to the police force and the communi t y.
" Tulungan natin ang atin gobyerno para wakasan ang terrorismo at illegal na droga, may program ang atin pamahalaan para sa kanila, kausapin natin sila at ituloy natin ang bagbabago na sinumulan ng atin mahal na Pangulo at ni Senator Bong Go," Bustos sai d.
He also urge the groups to join President Duterte and Senator Bong Go in the fight to end poverty by educating the youth and be part of nation building.
"Kailangan mag aral lahat ng mga kabataan, kaya nagbibigay ng educational assistance ng atin Pangulong Duterte ,
Senator Bong Go, PATROL at DWSD para darating ang araw wala ng pumipila para humingi ng ayuda dahil
lahat ay may trabaho at tumutulong sa pagpapaangat ng ating bansa, " Bustos said.
The legislator also praised the accomplishments of the police officers and emphasized their vital role in the fulfillment of their mission to create safer communities for all Filipino families.
" Kailangan malakas ang atim pamilya, dahil ito ang bumubuo ng Republica," Bustos added.
The event culminated with Bustos receiving a plaque of appreciation as a gesture of gratitude for sharing his time and wisdom as guest speaker.
