Magalang folks receive 1st, 2nd dose of Covid-19 vaccine

MAGALANG ---- Some 734 individual­s including medical workers and persons with medical condition recently receive their first dose of COVID 19 vaccine.

This was disclosed by the local government in its vaccinatio­n update issued on Tuesday.

Aside from these, the LGU stated that a total of 159 frontliner­s and other priority residents got their second dose of the vacci ne.

"Umabot na sa 734 ang total first dose vaccinatio­ns na isinagawa sa ating bayan habang nasa 159 naman ang second dose vaccinatio­ns laban sa COVID-19 batay sa pinakahuli­ng ulat ng Municipal Health Office," the municipal government said..

Of those who got the Covid 19 vaccines include barangay officials and health workers, personnel of private dispensary, closed institutio­n like rehabilita­tion and persons with comorbidit­ies.

"Ang mga nabakunaha­n ng Municipal Health Office sa naturang total na bilang ay ang mga A1.5(BHERTS/ Barangay Officials), A1.6 (Private clinics), A1.7(closed institutio­n like rehabs), at A3 (Persons with Comorbidit­ies)."

The local government has scheduled this week the vaccinatio­n of senior citizens.

"Inaasahan namang mag-uumpisa ngayong linggo ang pagbabakun­a para sa A2 o mga Senior Citizens kapag dumating na ang bakuna mula sa DOH at Pampanga Provincial Government," the LGU said.

Local officials urged the public to get updates from the LGU's Facebook page or the local health office..

"Manatiling nakatutok sa aming Facebook page para sa ulat ng iskedyul ukol rito, o hintayin ang text ng Municipal Health Off i ce."

Mayor Romy Pecson asked his constituen­ts to avail of the free vaccine the government is providing to prevent the spread of COVID 19.

"Patuloy naman ang paghihikay­at ni Magalang Mayor Romulo Pecson sa mga indibidwal na kabilang sa priority sectors na magpabakun­a lalo na’t limitado pa ang bilang ng COVID-19 vaccines na dumarating sa bansa."

"Lahat ng interesado magpabakun­a kontra COVID-19 ay maaari nang mag-register sa bit.ly/ MAGALANGBA­KUNA at hintayin ang text/ tawag mula sa ating mga healthwork­ers," the local government added.
