Safety seal recipients urged to adopt contract tracing app
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO---The City Government of San Fernando on Saturday urged establishments which have already received the safety seals to adopt the StaySafe.ph digital contact tracing application to strengthen the contact tracing initiative of the local government unit to effectively contain the spread of Covid-19.
This, after the City Government the safety seal to some six malls here that have been found compliant with the minimum public health standards (MPHS) set by the government. SM City Pampanga, SM Downtown, SM Telabastagan, Robinsons Starmills, Waltermart, and Vista Mall secured and displayed their safety seal at their entrances on Friday, June 4, after passing the assessment and inspection of the local government.
“With this seal, we also encourage the establishments to adopt the StaySafe.ph digital contact tracing application. Pinaka-importante yung contact tracing application dyan. Hindi kasi masyadong nakatuon ang pansin ng mga mall sa contact tracing kaya m i n s a n nagkakaproblema tayo kapag may isang naireport na nagpositive sa establishment nila,” said City Health Officer in charge and Incident Commander Carlos B. Mercado
The safety seal is valid for six months from the date of issuance, except for those issued to tourism enterprises which shall be valid for one year.
It is renewable as long as the establishment sustains strict compliance with MPHS and other eligibility requirements.
