TMC Clark, Nolcom sign healthcare agreement
FREEPORT— As an extension of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, Clark Development Corporation (CDC) will put up five family care centers for Aetas near the freeport.
The five Pagsasarili Family Care Centers will be put up in partnership with Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. (BCFI), and other agencies, at the Certificate of Ancestral Domain title (CADT) 025A area near here.
CDC President and Chief Executive Officer Manuel Gaerlan, with BCFI Executive Director Filipina Laureana, and OB Montessori Campus Manager Audrey Paras recently led the ground breaking ceremony for the said cen t er s.
Meanwhile, Converge ICT Chairman and former CDC Chairman Jose De Jesus, as well as former CDC President Noel Manankil, attended the event as a show of their continuous support for the program.
BCFI, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of the Bloomberry Resorts Corporation (BRC), funded the project and donated P46 million for the development of the five family care centers.
These centers will be established on selected locations within the CADT 025A area including Marcos Village, Sitio Calapi, Sitio Burog, Sto. Nino, and San Vicente.
The five family care centers will provide basic education and other social services for indigenous communities near the freeport. The construction of the facilities is expected to be finished in December 2021.
In his speech during the ceremony, Gaerlan thanked all CDC’s partner firms and agencies for making the project possible.
He mentioned that the aim of "Pagsasarili" program is to provide early childhood care and holistic development for Aeta children. Aside from this, parents and adults will also have the opportunity to learn through practical and livelihood skills sessions that will be taught at the center.
CDC coordinated with the City Government of Mabalacat to ensure the successful implementation of this initiative. In addition, the City Government of Mabalacat will likewise provide other logistical support such as educational supplies, materials, and other equipment.

FREEPORT--The Medical City (TMC) Clark recently entered into a community partnership agreement with the Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom) in keeping with its mission to provide world class healthcare services to every Filipino.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by TMC Clark President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Almario Jabson, and Nolcom Commander Lt. General Arnulfo Marcelo Burgos Jr., during ceremonies held at the TMC Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Under the agreement, TMC Clark will extend to Nolcom personnel special discounted rates, both for in and outpatient services. These discounted rates will likewise be extended to the declared dependents of Nolcom personnel.

OF SAN FERNANDO-- A total of 462 senior high school (SHS) students taking the Humanities and Social Sciences Strand at Pampanga High School received P2,500 each from the Provincial Government of Pampanga.
They are among 18,343 SHS students management for acknowledging "the sacrifices that our soldiers make in order to ensure the safety of the Filipino people."
“Apart from the discounts, the quality healthcare services that TMC Clark offers is already of great help to our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines who are constantly putting their lives at risk to ensure that peace and development in Norther and central Luzon are sustained,” Burgos said.
He also recognized the strong bond between the medical practitioners and the military personnel in the fulfillment of their sworn duties.

This challenging time has indeed established a strong bond across the province who are set to receive similar assistance from the capitol.
The Provincial Library, along with the Provincial Treasurer’s Office and Third District Board Member Rosve Henson, led the distribution of assistance at the Bren Z. Guiao Sports Complex just Thursday.
The aid distributed is part of Governor Dennis Pineda's Emergency Shelter Assistance program.
While the assistance is not big, Henson said that it is enough to inspire the students to pursue their studies. He added that it is the responsibility of not just the parents to send their children to school but also of the whole community.

Aeta Pagsasarili Family Care Center was initially created through the partnership of CDC and OB Montessori. It was first launched in July 2019 to provide early childhood and adult learning activities for IPs from nearby communities of this freeport.
