Pampanga anti-insurgency task force helps labor sector
CITY
OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) reinforced projects to assist the labor sector in Pampanga.
During the virtual Barangay Leveling Session on the Localization of Executive Order No. 70, Board Member and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Peace and Order Committee Chairperson Rosve Henson shared that they will strengthen the Clark, Angeles, Mabalacat, Pampanga Employment
Assistance Center (CAMP-EAC) which is a one-stop processing center to ensure efficient job placement services in Clark Freeport Zone.
Under this program, PTF-ELCAC is giving orientations that circle in maintaining a harmonious employer-employee relationship within companies in the Freeport.
“We all know that when there are conflicts between the employer and
employee sector, there will be a disturbance of industry realties, and here, the problem will start with insurgency elements infiltrating us,” he said.
CAMP-EAC also assists the applicants in the different companies and its peripheral municipalities and cities for faster compliance of the documentary requirements for employment.
In addition, PTF-ELCAC is set to construct the Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Annex Hospital also in Clark Freeport Zone.
“This will cater to employees in the Clark, meaning to say, more than 120,000 employees from different locators will have one government hospital inside to cater their medical needs. This is supported by the different locators inside the freeport,” Henson stated.
He mentioned that it will be open to the residents in the peripheral areas such as Mabalacat City, Angeles City, Porac, and Magalang, and the indigenous communities within and outside the Freeport.
Henson announced that the construction will start this mid-year and will be operational before the end of 2022.
Bulk of the funding will be shouldered by the provincial government, aided by the city government of Mabalacat, and other financial institutions. (PIA 3)
