Book Reading: Powerful Benefits
Marie B. Cunanan
It is a proven, high effect, low-cost method to promote development that enables individuals to become independent learners. Independent learning is when the students establish their objectives, monitor and evaluate their academic development to control their learning passion.
Learning is the focus of the education process for learners themselves. The student and an ideal life resource can find the problem which the teacher is interested in an exciting and the pleasure which they get from awareness. 1. Tell the learner to reflect.
Advocating for learners to keep their "study logs" would enable them to monitor and evaluate their achievement. Hopefully, your motivation will increase as you reflect and become aware of what you have been over the year. 2. Concentrate on delivering self-monitoring technologies for learners Self-tracking depends on the two goal-setting processes and feedback from each other. By increasing their use of self-assessment and peer evaluation, you will enable students to check whether the techniques they employed were effective in achieving learning goals.
3. Encourage your learners to choose their learning goals
This would help students feel motivated and manage their education, to concentrate on their interests and priorities, and take care of their learning.
4. Offer more written and spoken assessments of classrooms and assignments; this may be a good approach to increase students' confidence in selfemployment. Avoid the use of ratings and results and propose that the level of initiative be assigned.
5. Build communication including learning communication
This enables students to become more sensitive to education processes, acknowledge their unique style of learning, and voice their views.

Back in grade school, we were required to read books, which caused many of us to lose sleep the night before it was due. A few years later, you may have found yourself immersed in a trendy chapter book series (shout-out to all the Harry Potter fans out there) or maybe even a biography of your favorite athlete or person of interest. Reading has traditionally been seen as one of life’s great pleasures, but in the age of smartphones, game consoles, and Netflix, amusing oneself with blocks of unmoving text has become increasingly unappealing. But reading books is important too. They fuel our imagination and expose us to new worlds.
Reading improves your writing. Being able to express yourself clearly, correctly, and coherently are important communication skills. Reading expands our mind by increasing our vocabulary. When we are exposed to new words and sentence structures in books, we learn how to use them in real life. Reading also helps us to increase our intelligence and mental capacity. The better our cognitive abilities, the better we work. Every sentence we read contains a lot of valuable information, which means that reading actively engages our mind. The more we exercise our brain, the stronger it becomes.
Plus, reading improves your communication skills, and being able to work well with colleagues is a crucial component of professional success. High levels of emotional intelligence and empathy are two traits that allow you to relate to other people in a way that is highly conducive to good management or teamwork. Both traits are developed by reading books.
Furthermore, reading can also lead to long-term health benefits such as decreased stress, depression, and dementia. Reading can also lead to enhanced confidence, empathy, and decision-making. Reading can also lead to an overall increase in life satisfaction.
So do not be discouraged and find excuses not to read. Instead, turn it around and find new ways to get involved in the conversation. It is always nice to learn there are benefits to a favorite hobby, and given all reading does for us, it seems like a hobby that's worth exploring.
