TEACHERS’ RESILIENCE TOWARDS WORK

COVID – 19 pandemic has brought changes in education set – up. Technology advancemen­t has also change how every teacher communicat­e, and engage in their work. These new normal changes require resilience to adapt in the new learning modalities and platforms. Having the positive mind set, teachers enables them to stay focused on whatever school works they would like to accomplish. With positive and creative thinking, teachers can feel relieved from different stressful situations. Thinking the solution first before thinking the problem really helps everyone to acquire new informatio­n and solution to solve an issue or any problem. For instance, if one teacher approach required school reports with a positive mindset, he or she may be more likely to stay focused since he or she is open to the experience. To sustain the resiliency among the teachers towards their work, here are some suggested tips; (1) Focus on priorities and track your learning goals; (2) Love what you do and do what you love; (3) Be creative and innovative; (4) Be a goal oriented; (5) Visualize a positive results of your work; (6) Treat challenges as your road to success; and (7) Engage in collaborat­ion with colleagues and profession­al network. Challenges are steps in achieving learning goals. Never consider failures as problems, instead use it as a guide towards the path of successful life. As teachers we are dealing with different school reports and other school – related activities that sometimes we forget to have some relaxation. In this type of scenario, instill in mind that everything is alright and be the first one to support and motivate yourself in completing your target. Life in teaching is full of happiness, enjoy it. Learning in life is full of challenges, endure it. Time will come, you will see yourself as a strong person and is able to deal with different type of hardships in the world of teaching. Learn to live with love and be a resilient teacher of the new normal education.
