DISADVANTAGES OF MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING

According to Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr that the Department of Education is continuously innovating. We utilize modules, we utilize TV, radio as well as computeraided forms of educational materials. Dep Ed will be adapting to the new normal. Despite of free public education from pre-elementary to college It cannot sustain the meal ,data load everyday expenses for a whole month. Other poor families may rather want their children to earn money by doing some work to help the family meet its basic needs. It was March 0f 2020 when the different manifestation meet by educators, parents, and especially students Teachers on the top experiencing technology gap between a 21 st century learner on which he/she will try to catch up with the current trends use d in delivering the alternative delivery mode (Google meet and preparing for the Power-point presentation and also some issues that they are benefitting from the effects of pandemic. Pandemic also forced students to break deadlines to heed in answering modules and tried to developed competencies based on MELC. Parents are affected as well, since most of them are not trained in the Parents are affected as well, since most of them are not trained in the appropriate delivery of education and are without alternative but to teach their children themselves while at the same time juggling work and other household activities (Manila Times , May 18,2021)
