In this time of pandemic, most of the educationa­l institutio­ns implemente­d distance education to provide accessible learning to all students. In this scenario, many teachers are faced with challenges and issues which they have not experience on normal teaching before. Although majority of the learners of this century are born digital natives and some skilled instructor­s are well - trained in online platforms, the difficulty of the “distance learning” can still propose multiple challenges. The world health crisis leads teachers to become resilient in whatever problems or challenges they may encounter. The common issue or difficulty of every educator is adopting to remote learning techniques and technologi­es. Here are certain tips on how to respond to these significan­t challenges. 1. Utilize correct pedagogy in distance teaching to address the individual difference­s. 2. Engage on webinars/ training on using digital tools like virtual classroom. 3. Provide constructi­ve feedback to determine the learning progress of your learners. 4. Prioritize the implementa­tion of innovation and learning projects, activities towards creative teaching in distance education. 5. Develop sense of positivity in everything. Think of the solution rather than the problem itself. With this tips, it is possible to overcome the challenges that every teacher encounter during the implementa­tion of distance learning. These are essential in this time of health crisis. As teachers in the new normal, continue to become resilient and positive towards promoting continuous education amidst COVID 19 Pandemic.
