Maris Rascal opens about her relationship with Rico Blanco

Kapamilya actress Maris Racal, 23 on boyfriend Rico Blanco, 48: "Simple lang naman kasi si Rico na boyfriend. Parang hindi naman siya yung tipong, like, araw-araw na nagbibigay ng bulaklak."

Now that Maris, is open talking about her relationship with Rico, she reveals everything uon her guesting in "Magandang | Buhay".

“I guess before, I would say music, kasi dun kami start nag-click talaga, nag-work together.

“But right now, siguro malaking percentage siguro yung pareho kaming values sa life, pareho kami na may malaking family and very close together.

“So, gets namin yung ano, yung paano magtreat ng family. So, 'yon yung pinakaimportante talaga sa amin.”

The singer-actress was asked if it was hard to form a relationship in the midst of the pandemi c?

“Hindi ko po alam, kasi before pandemic po n ag-st ar t .

“Medyo mahirap magmaintain ng relationship sa panahon ng pandemi c.

“Pero hindi ko po alam sa nag-start ng relationship sa pandemic.”

Even before the couple talked about their age gap.

“Lagi po naming pinag-uusapan. Pero every time na ganoon po yung topic, natatakot talaga ako, napi-pressure ako.

"Kasi natatakot ako sa kung ano ang iisipin ng mga tao.

“Kasi, strange kasi yung ano namin, relationship namin, because of the age gap.

“It's like the big elephant in the room, so natatakot akong iano ng mga tao.”

Maris never expected that people's response would be positive.

“So I'm really, really surprised sa reaction nila. Hindi ko in-expect na matutuwa pala sila.”

What does Rico do to make her feeling "Kilig"?

"Marami naman. Simple lang naman kasi si Rico na boyfriend.

“Parang hindi naman siya yung tipong, like, araw-araw na nagbibigay ng bulaklak.

“Pero siguro, every time na nagbibigay siya ng flowers, ganun, kinikilig ako. Kasi hindi siya ganoon, simple lang si ya.

“So, every time na may ibibigay siya, parang kinikilig ako."

Rico and Maris collaborated in the latter's song "Abot Langit".

“I expect to be trained by the best, and hopefully, I absorb everything and just be open to learning from ever ybody,”
