The COVID-19 has had devastating effects throughout the globe. We couldn’t spot or even say anything good about it. All industries are striving to survive and still trying to adapt to the current situation. One thing that has struggled a lot is the field of education. The department needs a tremendous help. A lot of things can now acquire with the help of technological advancement. This includes education. While we are struck with this global pandemic, people from the field of education have been working rigorously to deliver things that is somewhat impossible to carry out. Either from online classes to creating modules for students to go over with. They all do it to keep up with their sworn promise to feed people with useful information which will be vital to a child or even adult’s life moving forward. We spend hours and hours of hard work putting together a plan where students will not feel like they are being forced to study even at home. This is a general feeling of students tend to have towards the new way of approaching education. We do know that not everyone will be comfortable in doing schoolwork at home, and that each student has their own way of absorbing knowledge. Some students will excel in physical activities, others in problem solving, and some with leadership or academics. Above are the things that we cannot see and measure with these new learning modalities at home that has been put in place. Most students are distracted already with matters at home as well as personal matters that might affect how they will behave while attending classes. This is where the help we are asking from comes in. Remember that there was a saying that education starts at home…. We all agree. It does starts at home. We do think however that it should still be a continuous process even at home. Home is a reinforcing factor in pushing someone to strive harder and to be better. It is about time that we take advantage of this lack downs and quarantines to reconnect with our family members who are students. Involve yourselves in your student learning’s. This say both parties will gain knowledge. Aside from that we can reignite the connection we have as a family whilst learning together.
