In the execution of the modular distance learning modality, based on some of the parents’ concern are learners who are not capable of learning independently, or who are not sporadically supported by their guardians. Also there are learners who do not have media institutions like TV and radio stations as support to their learning.

As a result, there are learners who did not meet the expectation in each quarter. Some problems that arises are the late submission of the outputs of the learners due to the insufficient support guising and learning to the learners.

In order to save the learner, teachers are eagerly doing the noble job by making remedial activities to learners.

Remedial activities according to Nesco 2020, are activities or programmes aimed at helping students with learning difficulties or supporting students that may need to develop betterlearningskills as well as master content.

This also known as the alternative learning activity where the student answered the given simplified task.

The purpose of pursuing this study is to know what the factors that must be considered in making remedial activities to the learners. This may help teachers improve skills in developing alternative learning activities or learning activity sheets. A remedial activities is way to solve this common problem.

That is why Thilges and Schmer (2020) provided a concept analysis of formal remediation wherein he recognized a framework for defining the concept, developing measurable outcomes, and describing when to implement the intervention.

This is vital so that there is a consistent and systematic way of delivering the remedial acitivities.
