“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Mahatma Gandhi As I read this quote, I remember the story of a boy and his friend, A tree… It is entitled The Giving Tree. The story started with the two friends just playing hide and seek, and the boy pretended to be the king of the forest, and eat apple. The Apple tree gave everything she has to offer to her friend from fruits up to his trunk, because as the boy grew into his adulthood, his needs in life changed, but the tree managed to give most of his needs while her friend manage to live his own life building his own, forgetting his friend in the background. But the story ended with an old man wishing to find a resting place for him to wait for his death and found it to his friend, the apple tree, as an old stump. In the field of Education, leaders too are “Giving trees” in their own special ways…Everyday, they face different personalities that at times make them sad. Yet their mission to be servant leaders continues. They at times forget their own heartaches to make other people feel special. These are the unsung heroes of every institution, they maybe teachers, or administrators who sees the world of chaos a place of hope and opportunity to discover genuine love….an abode of mutual respect and a place where magical positive gifts from above that awaits every educator to unwrapped and feel God’s empowering blessings. If every single soul in the Department will discover these things, there an ambiance of positivity… It will then be…. A dwelling place where God
