Guv thanks Mabalacat mayor for patrol truck donations

City of San Fernando--Governor Dennis "Del t a" Pineda paid a personal visit to thank Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo after the latter donated some 20 units of Nissan

Navara Patrol Trucks to boost logistical capabiliti­es of various police stations in Pampanga.

The vehicles were distribute­d to various municipali­ties in Pampanga.

During the turnover ceremony last Friday, Mayor Garbo said that one of his advocacies has always been peace and order in the city, so he makes sure to support the needs of the police.

Apart from the patrol vehicles, the mayor also personally handed over ten M16 UDMC rifles to the Mabalacat

Attending the turnover were PNP Chief Police Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, PRO3 Director PBGen. Valeriano de Leon, PPO Director PCol. Arnold Thomas Ibay, local chief executives, and chiefs of police of 19 municipal police stations.

MAGALANG -- An 83 year old man residing in this town has died from COVID 19.

The patient, with a codename M960, is from Barangay San Isidro, based on the local government's September 2, 2021 report.

Another patient, M1233, a 57 year old man from Barangay San Nicolas 2 died and reported to the local officials on the same day.

The municipal government stated that a total of 73 residents had died from Covid 19 since the start of the pandemic in March last year.

Aside from these fatalities, the local government has recorded 11 new cases of COVID 19 and 15 patient recoveries as of September 2.

Mayor Romy Pecson said that 85 percent of the people who contracted the virus recovered.

Some 1,070 out of the 1,240 total patients were healed, according to the mayor.

Pecson at the same time appealed to his constituen­ts to always wear face covers, avoid gatherings, and wash hands now that the Delta Variant is becoming prevalent in the country.
