DILG helps Pampanga LGUs in devolution transition plans
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is helping Pampanga local government units (LGUs) in drafting their respective Devolution Transition Plans or DTPs.
Over the weekend, the DILG convened representatives and members of the Devolution Transition Committee and Technical Working Group members of the different cities and municipalities in the province to provide them with in-depth knowledge and information on the development of DTPs.
According to DILG Provincial Director Myrvi Apostol-Fabia, the DTP will guide LGUs in performing their tasks in line with the increase in the National Tax Allotment and implementation of devolved functions and services from various government agencies starting 2022.
