LEARNING BEYOND THE STRUGGLES

-

It's 6 am, and the loud, annoying alarm just went off. As I reach my arm to turn it off, I thought, "maybe 5 minutes more.. yeah, then I will definitely get up". But I never did until my mom personally wakes me up because I’m almost late. As I sit there, contemplating whether I should go to my online class, I realized that I have no choice. A deep sigh came out of my unbrushed mouth. It's another week of endless hustle…

A lot of people say that the hardest part is always at the beginning. You know, it is most certainly as a student. Getting up early in the morning is always the problem.

Not to mention I need to take a bath with water as cold as ice. Brrrr! Just thinking about it makes me shiver! And that's just the start of my day. When I get to virtual schooling... that's another problem to think about. It doesn't get easier from there.

I have a ton of activities to do, reports to accomplish, quizzes to prepare for and performance tasks to finish. It is definitely hard no matter how many school years I go through. I just can't get used to it. But you know what, I am progressing. I am growing to become a more mature person who is ready to face the real world beyond the doorsteps of my comfort zone. I’m really glad with that. It might not be noticeable, but I’m moving forward one step at a time, and that's what is important.

Challenges may come, but believe me I’m ready to conquer all of them. Academics? Online class? New Learning? Yes! It may not be easy at the beginning but I know it will be worth it. Just like you, I am stronger than before.

I am learning, you are learning , we are all learning amidst the struggles we’re in and that’s something we should be proud of.
