TEACHING THROUGH A SUITED STRATEGY

Is there a best method being used in teaching? Can a certain strategy be effective in any chosen lesson? It has been said that there is no best strategy in teaching. For, one size does not fit all. There could be a lesson or a but not on the other lesson the next day. Also, there could be a situation where though you have the same subject matter for your three classes, a particular strategy could not be applicable to the next section that you also handle.

This just means that there are so many considerations that we must do whenever we would be thinking of a creation strategy to be used. Thus, it is of much vitality to plan, so that we would be able to reflect on the appropriate steps that we shall undertake in our teaching.

The main consideration would be the learners that we handle. We must identify the strengths and weakness of our pupils so that we would know “How to Teach” and “What to Focus” It must also be noted that since our pupils have different learning styles as well as interests, we must consider Differentiated Instruction.

There are varied activities that could be done so that we could be able to teach effectively. We could apply them in the first part, have another one in the second, and another one at the last part.

Though these varieties we would be much more assured that we are considering the different learning styles and capabilities of our learners. Let us also not forget that we deal on the 21st Century learners. Thus, it is encouraged to include the utilization of Information and Communications Technology or ICT in instruction. In that manner, we would be able to arouse their interests because, that is one of their needs and expectations.

Lastly, do not forget to always upgrade ourselves as educators so that we would always be armed with something new to offer to our eager learners.
