THE PROCESS OF MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING

Modular Distance Learning- a new terminology that was born in the midst of pandemic. Grateful are we, that despite the situation that we experience, we are able to continue our tasks of delivering learning among our students even through remote means.

At first, our anxiety may be there as we do not know the process, especially because we are in a very crucial condition. However, through the efforts of our agency, we gained confidence as we have been properly prepared and oriented as we facilitate the Modular Distance Learning.

Our first question of how learning could be possible for those without gadgets have been answered. The modules which were developed and written by selected educators which were then funded so they were be distributed for all the learners for free are have been the solutions to make learners learn even at their homes.

But of course, modular distance learning is not just getting and answering modules. Educators still play vital roles in assuring that their learners gain the competencies of the lessons.

Thus, the feedbacking and monitoring process in this modality is significant. Teachers must reach out to the parents and learners remotely so that they would be able to facilitate and provide remediations for the learners who are left behind.

Yes, this modality may not be the same as the traditional face to face teaching, but gladly, learning goes on amidst our crucial global health crisis. Our teachers would remain committed and dedicated in making sure that our children still have the opportunity to learn, until the time that they are permitted to go back to school again.
