Environmental cleanliness is a description for a school to be considered as clean and green learning place. It is considered as an easy but beneficial way to improve a safe learning environment. We want to help the barangay stay clean and have an environment. Our little ways help a lot in improving a healthy environment. There is a saying that goes “Big things comes from small action of deeds,” that we must start within ourselves the discipline and encourage others to achieve change in caring the environment. Through this small action, we can save and protect from destroying it, we must take actions to help it now.

Most people claim to care for the environment, but what people do they care for and what they’re actions are somewhat different. People see the environment as a simple that is open to anyone being overused and deteriorated. For immediate personal gain, individuals continue to manipulate the environment, ignoring the long-term consequences of their behavior. Sustaining the environment helps prevent global warming and climate change. One example of the sustainability of the environment is simply cleaning.

Remedios National High school had always been on advocate of Clean and Green Program with proper waste segregation and clean-up projects as its forefronts. With this advocacy, the Senior High School Department conducted the clean-up drive last October 12, 2021 with the collaboration of the SSG, the YES-O, GSP/BSP, and stakeholders of Remedios. The activity ended with impressive turn-out, a remarkable transformation all brought about by utmost participation of many club members involved for progress and change of the school community.

This activity had awakened the youth of their responsibility to take care and reflects concern of their environment. It was successful activity that reflects that every individual must take their part in saving Mother Earth.
