Sunrise and Sunsets

-

It is ok okay to savor our sunrise but, we owe ourselves to discovering our own sunsets too.

School Year 2021-2022 opening will start in just few days. Teachers are busy once again preparing for another journey in the New Normal of Education. Slowly they will once again gather evidence for different activities. Accomplishments for Brigada Eskwela, SDRMM, SSG/ SPG Elections and a lot more, for sure the lenses of the cameras of our dear teachers will never stop flashing. So many papers and reports to make. And with every accomplishment we find fame and glory, and I agree that it brings self-confidence and fulfillment.

And in our busy schedule we never realized that slowly physical fatigue is creeping in. Stress and then… . SICKNESS. We forgot take REST… … We become heists for ourselves without us knowing it. Admit it or not, we all share that robbery by being Workaholics.

I am not saying to stop what we are doing. Because all these stuffs ore our duties and responsibilities and by doing this job, we have food on our table… we can feed our family. Just my opinion, we need to do things at a slow phase… enjoy a break from time to time… . you know enjoying your cup of favorite coffee, reading that favorite novel of yours, or just simply taking breathing exercises.

And at the end of each week, find sunsets under the shades of prayer. A conversation with God is like a therapy session it brings inner peace, and it brings us energy to focus the next morning.

Let us make a vow with God and ourselves to discover more of these sunsets and enjoy viewing it with God to have a balance plan.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected educational systems globally. This pandemic leads to closures of schools around the world. The impact on elementary education, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has far reaching affects and can only be improved by educators following the different distance learning modalities. Children are not different to the psychological impact of the covid-19 pandemic.

They even experience anxieties, fears, uncertainties, important changes in their lives especially when they learned that they will not yet go to school the following school year. As a response to the challenge brought by covid – 19 pandemics.

The DepEd ensures the continuity of learning amidst Covid – 19 with the different learning modalities in place on the traditional face-to-face teaching – learning in the classroom through MDL or Modular Distance Learning. This is an any form of remote education where learners are not physically present for the lessons instead teachers and students use various technologies to facilitate learning.

Distance learning of education is the new normal in education depending much on online learning and digital means to adapt the education practices where learners learn from public space to personal space to study to the comfort and safety of their homes at their own pace and at their own time. This changed to social interactions from physical to virtual.

The New Normal of teaching is the shift of delivery mode of learning where learners can progress through the curriculum of different speed and use different resources based on their particular learning needs. No matter what the situation is learning must continue amidst the pandemic to every learner from living to learning. *****
