"Failing to plan is planning to fail."

This quote above actually sums up the significance of planning. As we all know, planning is a significant thing that we do each day, not only in our workplace but also in our simple and ordinary task.

In our workplace, planning is indeed a very essential step that we must undertake prior to the implementation of our targeted goals and objectives. We have to plan because we have to identify the WHATs, WHYs, WHOs and HOWs of our organization.

Another thing, planning is not the sole job of a leader. It takes stakeholders to come uo with a well-designed plan. Even though the leader is competent enough to conduct planning, the "voices of the customers" must be heard. Thus in the planning process, quorum and parties must be well represented.

Whenever we plan, we are hitting the target. It is because one of the processes in planning is identifying the problem. These problems are based on the observations of the involved planning team. Once identified, priorities must be set. Thus, planning makes us resolve the most urgent and the most important problems that exist in our stations.

Planning also makes us deal with how the projects be accomplished. We can come up with very promising targets, but it is crucial to have a very good strategy to achieve them. With planning, we could list down the possible activities that we could do so that our objectives would be attained.

Significantly, planning makes us less likely avoid mistakes. And through it, we could succeed in our target of implementing programs and projects to better serve our clientele.
