In this time of uncertainties, we are all facing different situation coping with the so called “new normal way” of life. One thing that is so remarkable among us Filipinos is being resilient in whatever situation we are having. Probably we would all agree that we are living in the “survival of the fittest world.”

We are now living witnesses of each other creativities these days. For those who were not able to go back to their previous works, they think out of the box out of their normal routines. Online selling is now seen as to be among the top new ways of coping up. Old clothes made to face masks and plastic bottles turn into face shields. For those parents at home, hats off for being able to unleash your prowess in providing new dishes out of the ordinary food we have such as sardines and a lot more.

Truly Filipinos can really surpass anything. Their creativity is limitless. the ultimate reason that is for SURVIVAL. True to this mission,

Jose P. Dizon Elementary School (JPDES), Angeles City faculty, staff and stakeholders are all committed to ensure that learning will be evident in us. The faculty are given proper trainings specially on different Strategies of Online Teaching. We make sure that “No student will be left behind.” We also believe that Education does not stop in the four corners of the classroom. Creativity and willingness are just two to mention among the ways in promoting education in the “new normal world.”

It may sound so idealistic but, attitude matters. It is we believe that with positive attitude towards achieving goals will be the essential key towards the ladder of success. There was the absence of physical or face to face encounters but with technology as our help, we are coping we are able to still deliver the Department of Education to provide every learner the opportunity to learn.

Among our school best practices includes Module Production. All are engaged in producing quarterly ring modules. When distribution and retrieval, we practice basic protocols. And we address the needs of parents and students residing far or outside the Barangay by having Feeder Barangays where modules are delivered to them through their Barangay Captains.

Together we can survive this pandemic, hand in hand we are committed to be today’s front liners in ensuring that Safety must be given much priority but at the same time, the institution and all its staffs are ever ready to assist every learner in their educational needs.
